Permissions

Permissions define the actions specific team members are allowed to take. In Bugsy, permissions are grouped into categories called abilities.

Ability levels

None

Team members with the "None" ability level are not able to access records.

View

Team members with the "View" ability level are able to view records that belong to them. For example, if a team member has the ability to view schedules, they will be able to view their own schedule.

View all

Team members with the "View all" ability level are able to view all records. For example, if a team member has the ability to view all customers, they will be able to view any customer.

Manage

Team members with the "Manage" ability level are able to update and discard records that belong to them. For example, if a team member has the ability to manage jobs, they will be able to update and discard their own jobs.

Manage all

Team members with the "Manage all" ability level are able to update and destroy all records. For example, if a team member has the ability to manage all payments, they will be able to update and destroy any payment.
